Sixty years of experience with fiberglass
Founded and currently run by the Poggianti family, the company produces components for the nautical and transportation industry, refrigeration, and fire-fighting materials, including famous partnerships such as Fincantieri, Mitsubishi, Princess&Cruises, LaiKa, Rimor, Carnival, and Costa Crociere.
Retos Italia relies on the work of more than 50 skilled workers, among them, direct employees and technicians of the connected activities.
Since 1957 Retos Italia has been a synonym for reliability and competence. Being quality at the heart of our company, production processes and products are guaranteed by certifications such as LLOYD’S REGISTER, RINA, MED, UNI EN ISO 9001.
Each piece leaving our plant is subjected to several controls and specific registrations: a careful attention that allowed Retos Italia to receive certificates of appreciation from all over the world.
When requested, Retos Italia can offer the realization of pattern, molds, and production of GRP articles starting from the elaboration of drawings.
Retos Italia is a company dealing mainly with fiberglass products.
It operates in the naval, recreational, and pleasure boats (Yachts) markets, all of them currently growing.
Equipment:
- 4 grinding booths
- 4 gelcoat paint booths
- 1 aging oven for product control
- 2 painting ovens
- Consumables (grinding wheels, polishing machines, orbiting rotors, drills etc.)
- 3 gelcoat spraying units
- Retos owns a total area of 7,290 square meters, 3,565 sqm of which are covered and 3,725 out in the open
